< Back to Staff page Cormac is a full-time lecturer with NUI Galway, in the School of Political Science and Sociology. He works on the BA (Economic and Social Studies) Course as provided by NUI Galway on an out-campus basis at St. Angela’s College in Sligo. He has worked with the Child and Family Research Centre since 2005, where he has concentrated on a number of research and evaluation studies in the areas of youth and family support. Cormac holds a B.A. (Hons.) Degree and an M.A. Degree(Sociology) from NUI Maynooth and is currently undertaking a PhD at NUI Galway. Prior to joining NUI Galway, Cormac lectured in the Waterford Institute of Technology on the Applied Social Studies Course. He also worked as a Regional Youth Officer in the South-East for Foróige, the National Youth Development Organisation.
